When a tariff rate filing is all inclusive, FMC regulations require the
rate filing to advise each and every tariff surcharge which the rate is not
subject to. To reflect this accurately on a printed tariff page or in a report
DPI's database system is programmed to print:
EXCEPTIONS: Not subject to Rule(s) ..........
(rule numbers will show)
If this is not printed, the rate is not All Inclusive, and tariff surcharges must be applied as per the tariff. We have found this is a much more accurate method of printing commodity rates. Please see the sample rate page or sample report.
