Distribution-Publications, Inc. (DPI) uses a software system for FMC tariffs that produces tariff pages in formats which are just as detailed and accurate as the traditional tariff page format. Our computer system was design to comply with FMC's Automated Tariff Filing Information (ATFI) Regulations. Every rate filing includes its effective date, expiration date, origin/destination, and all applicable surcharges. Each rate has a unique tariff line item number called a TRI number.
Our tariff page format shows TRI numbers and Commodity Item Numbers very clearly. Additionally, when a TRI is not subject to a surcharge or rule, this is automatically displays in a "not subject to" note on the page. The result is an accurate and clearly readable tariff page.
